Garnet, Diamond, and Opal Fly Brooch


A late victorian insect brooch. The thorax of the insect has an almost 9mm long opal. A garnet is positioned above its abdomen along with tiny diamonds in its wings. A pearl is affixed to one end of the stick. 

Normal antique wear, some wear to the pearl 

Metal: 14k Gold 

Age: C. 1880s-90s  

Dimensions: 1.5” across
