Victorian Insect Pearl and Diamond Pin
Insect jewelry was all the rage during the victorian era. The fascination with animals and nature began in the earlier part of the era with the advent of Darwinism and the proliferation of The Origins of Species.
This gorgeous pin is crafted in silver topped 14k gold with tiny diamonds set into the wings and eyes. Two pearls are set into the body of the bug. The end of the pin has a gorgeous 4mm pearl. While this is a brooch now, it can be converted into a gorgeous pendant. Please reach out to our team if you would like this service.
