Early Victorian Hunting Fob with Turquoise

I’ve never come across such an interesting watch fob before. This Late Georgian/Early Victorian is crafted in gold sheet which renders it lightweight. 3 tiny Persian turquoise stones are set into each side of the piece. There is carved mother of pearl in each side with a scene of two deer and one of a hunting dog killing a rabbit. The carvings are exceptional. A later bale is attached to the piece and allows it to be worn as a pendant.

Normal antique wear, oxidation is normal.

Metal: 12-15k gold, it is normal to test antique pieces and have a variation of gold

Age: 1830s-1840s

Dimensions: 1.5” across, 2” from top to bottom
