Antique Victorian Onyx Shield Double Sided Locket

Wonderfully large carved onyx locket in the shape of a shield. . The carved onyx is wrapped in lux 14k gold detailing, including an ornate filagree bail affixing it to an 18in round link chain. The gold detailing and the chain has a subtle rosy coloring, typical to pieces of this period. One side of the locket features a quartet of seed pearls, while the opposite side features 7 pearls arranged in a floral motif.
