
Sculptural 18k Gold Pendant by Ruth Lee Levanthal
This amazing and heavy pendant gives us serious art nouveau vibes but it is vintage and created by the well known sculptor Ruth Lee Levanthal. The pendant depicts a nude woman bursting from a flower holding a platinum set diamond in all its splendor.
Ruth Lee Levanthal (American 1923-1989) was a painter and bronze artist. She studied at the Arts Students League and The National Academy of Design in New York City. Ruth exhibited at Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, The National Arts Club, and the National Academy of Design. Leventhal was a fellow member of the Fellowship of the Royal Society of the Arts.
